Starting school, junior school and middle school allocation information
The offer date for the starting school admissions round, junior school transfer and middle school transfer is 16 April 2024.
Parents who have applied online will receive an email during the course of the day on 16 April 2024.
It is important that you let your child’s nursery/early setting know the school your child has been allocated to assist in achieving a successful transition into the school.
Offer letters will be posted on 16 April 2024 to parents who applied using a paper application form.
Please do not telephone the Admissions helpline on 16 April 2024 if you have not received your offer email. Information will not be given to parents over the telephone until Monday 22 April 2024.
Starting school admissions round
Please note, starting school places have been offered subject to parents providing the allocated school with their child’s birth certificate. Please do not bring your child’s birth certificate to the school until the school has made contact with you.
If your child is unable to attend the allocated school from his/her start date, it is important that you discuss the reasons for the delay with the Headteacher at the school.
If your child does not take up the place allocated, their place will be given to another child after ten school days. This process ensures that vacant school places are reallocated to other children promptly.
